Anybody out there with an F56 JCW who has managed to find an alternative brake pad? If so what was it? Any good?

I'd ideally like to get some DS2500's but they're not listed on the Ferodo website for the f56.

Cheers mate!

What would the Pagid be like for normal road use?

I've already spoken with carbotech and you're right - they don't have anything (at the moment!)

I don't need anything immediately but will do for the next TD.

Sorry my sd won't be getting any track time until it's time to go banger racing in about yr 2031
I have dug for the info as I have upgraded the calipers

There well regarded on other minis so I think worth a punt
The oem ones are expensive anyway, so in reality not that more than the stock option

Did you end up getting some uprated pads? I can only find EBC options on Lohens website, and the MXR's Jon mentioned but they're abit pricey! :scared: Wouldn't mind swapping the OEM pads before a track day I've got next month.

Just an update on this.

Ferodo are now making the DS2500 pad for the F56 JCW. I put them on yesterday and after bedding in they certainly seem to have a lot of bite. Looking forward to trying them properly at Silverstone next month!
